Amelia Uro has been a cantor and soloist at St. Mary's as well as other diocesan and protestant churches throughout Delaware and Pennsylvania since 1981. She studied voice at Immaculata College and with several private vocal coaches. She has performed in musical theater with the Brandywiners, Salesianum Alumni Theater, and Best of Broadway. She is a past member of the Delaware Chorale, Delaware Singers, The Wilmington School of Music Women's Chorus, and the University of Delaware's Choral Union. Amelia has performed classical works in Latin, German, French, and Italian. One of the highlight's of her musical experience was to sing Beethoven's Ninth Symphony at Carnegie Hall with a select group (Jubilieran) under the direction of Dr. Peter McCarthy.
Lynne Claire Morse recently sang the role of Beth in American composer Mark Adamo’s Little Women and Female Narrator in Benjamin Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia. She also brought a new element to the role of Berta in Il Barber di Siviglia at Opera Delaware by performing it six months pregnant! During the summer of 2009, she was a featured vocalist in the Best of the Sacred Songs of Duke Ellington as part of the Dupont/Clifford Brown Jazz Festival, in Wilmington, Delaware. Also, as a featured soloist, she was honored to participate in the World Premiere of The Wright Requiem, written by Andrew Wright, the Director of Music of Westminster Cathedral in London. Career highlights include singing Lily, one of the lead roles in Cindy Lou (Susan Asbjornson, composer), a World Premiere performance in Los Angeles. She has starred in productions including Don Giovanni (Donna Anna), Le Nozze di Figaro (Countess), Sleeping Beauty (Queen), La Bohème (Mimi), Turandot (Liu), and Gianni Schicchi(Lauretta). Lynne Claire was featured in Virginia Opera's Spectrum Resident Artist Program in 2006. She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and is a candidate for a Masters of Music in Vocal Performance at the University of Delaware. Leah Owens is a High School graduate and has been singing for over eleven years, beginning with children’s choirs at the age of 7. Within the last year she has cantored at Masses, graduations, funerals and weddings at St. Mary of the Assumption, St. Agnes in West Chester, and St Patrick’s in Kennett Square. In addition to singing, Leah has a passion for learning and playing several instruments including piano, guitar, violin, bass guitar and ukulele. Leah and several of her sisters have been active in St Mary of the Assumption Parish’s music programs over the last two years. She currently resides in Kennett Square, PA with her family. Anne North Reed is a light lyric soprano with over 30 years of performing experience. She was raised in several states across the Midwest, and started singing and dancing at an early age. She excelled at singing in high school, winning the Hastings Vocal Competition making her the top high school soprano in the state of Nebraska in 1987. Ms. North Reed attended the University of Kansas where she studied vocal performance, dance, and Public Relations in which she earned her degree. Ms. North Reed went on to earn a degree in Vocal Performance, with an emphasis in opera, from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. From there, she performed with the Atlanta Opera and also sang under the baton of Robert Shaw while singing with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, she has sung with Sherrill Milnes in Elijah with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, and performed with Concert Artists of Baltimore, Baltimore Symphony, Vero Beach Opera, WindSong Chamber Choir, and several local theatres and community opera organizations in the eleven states in which she has lived. Ms. North Reed relocated to Wilmington in 2013 after marrying Mr. John Reed, a partner attorney with DLA Piper. Her daughter, Lauren, was born in 2015, the same year the Reed family joined the St. Mary’s parish where Ms. North Reed is now a regular cantor.

Elaine has been a cantor, soloist and keyboardist at St. Mary's for the past 5 years. She studied voice and piano performance at the University of New York/Fredonia. She has performed internationally as keyboardist and vocalist with the Delaware Valley Chorale (now Choral Arts). She has been the choir accompanist, keyboardist and cantor for St. John the Beloved RCC in Wilmington, and is currently the primary keyboardist and choir accompanist at Our Lady of Fatima RCC in New Castle, DE. She has performed with a number of community choirs in the area including Newark Ecumenical Choir, University of Delaware's Schola Cantorum and is currently performing with Delaware's chamber choir, CoroAllegro under the direction of Maestro Jeffrey Dokken, and Vox Humana under the direction of Maestro Michael Lundy.
